Course Description

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR PHD GRADUATE STUDENTS WHOSE MAJOR RESEARCH FIELD IS HEMOSTASIS, THROMBOSIS, OR CARDIOVASCULAR PHARMACOLOGY.

THE COURSE INTRODUCES THE MECHANISM OF HEMOSTASIS, INCLUDING BLOOD-CLOTTING FACTORS, PLATELETS, FIBRINOLYTIC SYSTEM, ENDOGENOUS ANTICOAGULANT PROTEINS, MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGY AND PHARMACOGENOMICS. TOPICS ALSO INCLUDE THE EFFECTS AND ROLES OF ENDOTHELIAL CELLS AND INFLAMMATORY CELLS TO THE COAGULATION SYSTEM.
